Once upon a time the Wind and the Sun had an argument on who was stronger. “I am stronger than you,” Wind said. The Sun did not agree with him. Then they saw a traveller who was walking across the road. He was wrapped in a shawl. The Sun and the Wind agreed that whoever could separate the traveler from his shawl would be the stronger. The Wind took the first chance.
The wind blew forcibly with all his strength to tear the traveler’s shawl from his shoulders. But the harder he blew, the tighter the traveler caught the shawl. The struggle went on till the Wind’s turn was over. Now it was the Sun’s turn. The Sun smiled warmly and took his turn. The traveller felt the warmth of the smiling Sun.
